Hi Reception Families,
Here we go our last half term in Reception together.
This half term our focus is 'Off to the Beach' we will be learning all about the different types of beaches and coasts around our country and the wider world. We will also have a significant focus on animals who live in the sea.
This week we are kicking off our English focus of the fabulous book "And Tango Makes Three" so it's only fitting that we learn all about penguins!
We are hoping to have warmer weather, so please remember that children need to bring a hat to school which is CLEARLY NAMED and they should be bringing a drink to school. As previously requested please ensure you child wears suncream, 8 hour suncreams are available and these can be applied before school. It will be very difficult for us to apply suncream to all the children. If you do not have an 8 hour cream please send you child in with a rollerball style cream that they can apply independently, whilst being supervised by an adult.
This half term on Thursday Reception will spend the afternoon in year one with the fabulous Ms White they will be supported by staff already known to them from the Reception Team.
PE continues to be on Tuesday mornings with Mr Treble
