Reception Wednesday 15th December 2021

                                                                       Hello to you all!

I am so sorry I have been off the radar ill and, even more upsetting for me, to have missed the Nativity yesterday. Mrs. Smith has been keeping me updated with how the children are doing and it is safe to say, yet again, they are being "shamazing"...................it is easy to forget that this is the end of a VERY long term, indeed their FIRST term in school. Not only that, but we have battled many illnesses doing the rounds, settling into school life, rising to many challenges and they have done it all with smiles on their faces and love and happiness in their hearts............even the excitement and change to routine that Christmas brings, they have remained calm and, yet again, made us all super proud!!!!!!

To have every child come into school with a big smile on their face, happy to be here, is our ultimate goal! We believe we have achieved that in abundance this term! We love them all and hope that they and yourselves have a very happy, restful, healthy and fun Christmas holiday. Thank you for all your support this first term and we, as a team, are looking forward to our next two terms with your children.

A reminder that on Friday children can wear their home clothes to school and that they all need a "Festive" wrapped lunch box with a few surprise treats in for their party lunch!

Merry Christmas to you all,

Mrs. J, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Cleaver

Reception - Sorry!

 Sorry,

Nativity is now next TUESDAY!

Reception - Please read this for upcoming events

Lots of reminders for these next 2 weeks:

This Thursday we are having our class photo taken for the Echo.

On Friday it is Christmas Technology Day and Christmas Jumper Day. The children will be mixed across the school and will have the chance to do 3 Christmas craft activities.

After school on Friday is the Christmas Fayre, each class will be performing a song around the Christmas tree. Our song will be at 3:50pm, please collect your child from class as usual and then meet us at the Christmas Tree at the front of the school at 3:50pm.

Next Thursday is our Nativity at St Marys Church. We will provide you with a costume at pick up on the Thursday, your child will then need to wear this to the church. We appreciate that this may be a daunting experience for some of our children so we completely understand if you feel that your child would not be comfortable participating. Please let me know before next Wednesday if this is the case.

RWInc assessments will be carried out next week and you will be informed of your child's progress in the New Year once the data is collated.

Power Maths books may be returned to school before next Friday.

We are thoroughly enjoying the festive season and the children are coping brilliantly with all the excitement.

Please catch a member of the team if you have any questions.
