Hi all,
we came back into our classroom today to find a bit of a mess! There was food, pots and pans and teapots all over the place! After a bit of discussion - in which there were all sorts of people and things blamed for the mess - we carried out some super writing! Some children write down who they thought had made the mess whilst others helped to make a shopping list so I could go out and replace some of the items!
Then... After a strange knock at the door we were left 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' story. After reading the story we concluded that it must have been the Tiger who had made the mess earlier this morning!! We spoke about how we need to teach the Tiger some manners and then set about making some filling meals for the Tiger to eat instead of our food!
We are now going to exploring the topic of 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' for the next few weeks. There will be lots of exciting things to do and we will keep you updated with the developments.
Also - we carried out our first Daily Mile this morning. We had some very keen children who wanted to run along for large parts of it! All children completed this really really well! Pictures to follow!
