🎶 Dance Day Delight in Reception! 🕺🏼

Today was one to remember in Reception – a day filled with rhythm, movement, and beaming smiles as we celebrated Dance Day in style!

The morning kicked off with a high-energy African dance workshop, where the children explored rhythm, coordination, and expression through traditional moves inspired by African culture. Guided by the steady beat of a drum, they stomped, clapped, and spun their way through the morning, learning how music and movement come together to tell a story.

The excitement didn't stop there! With the sun shining and the school grounds buzzing, our young performers took to the "stage" to share their dance with friends and family. It was a joy to see their confidence and enthusiasm as they performed, proudly showcasing the routines they had worked so hard on. From big smiles to bold moves, every child brought something special to the performance.

Dance Day has not only been a fun way to get moving, but also a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore a new culture, build teamwork, and express themselves creatively.
