A truly inspired to learn week

Goodness me I don't know where to begin!

What a fantastic week we have had! Once again we have been extremely impressed by all the children, their attitude towards their learning, positive behaviour and each other!

We kicked off the week on Monday with the launch of our Food Faith and Farming Fortnight with a visit from Barrbara.

We also had our first PE lesson, lots of children were able to get ready by themselves which is fantastic!

In scarf this week we reflected on the things we are good at.

We've even had a go at chopping our own snack in the snack station.

Children are becoming increasingly confident when exploring our learning landscape and they are working so well together. We have had some super sharing and problem solving across the week.

We had great fun picking apples with Mr Bascombe

Today we had an extra special visitor who delivered the children's POW Passports, more information on these will be shared next week.

This afternoon we had a fantastic talk from Sherene Shoukrey all about Islam and being a Muslim.

The children loved sharing their ideas in Drawing Club this week, our focus was on the classic animation Wacky Races. On Thursday we drew pictures of what you would get if you won the race, my favourite was an octopus!! Because why wouldn't you win an octopus! The magic of childhood has shone through!

Coming up next week:
It's harvest and farm week throughout our provision.
Identifying more or less of different objects in Power maths
Exploring feelings and emotions in Scarf
A Squash and a Squeeze in Drawing Club.
We also have more faith based inputs throughout the week.

Don't forget we have our EYFS and KS1 Mutli-Faith or No Faith assembly on Friday which you are warmly invited to attend and our Local Food Links Fair from 2.30 on Friday afternoon!

As ever please do get in touch if you would like to discuss anything.
