"We're so excited and we just can't hide it..........." "Reception - we CANNOT wait to see you all!"

We are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited to see you all on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, we cannot say enough times just how proud we are of all of you for your resilience during lockdown.

Just a few reminders: bring wellies in, don't forget snack and water, please return "My Amazing Achievements" book and the named zip wallets we sent home. Drop off and pick up will be exactly the same as pre-lockdown (your staggered time and specific Reception gate entrance). Children may have one small comforter toy to be kept in their bags if you think they need one.

You can reassure children that we will be following exactly the same routines as pre-lockdown: they will put their belongings away, go to their morning job group as before, we will then have register, RWInc, snack and story, My Learning in 2 groups, Power Maths and Lunch in the Hall followed by playtime on the field. In the afternoons we will be doing yoga or PE or using Forest Schools or the Play Trail followed by My Learning time in our  area.

The children will return to their RWInc groups, NO assessments will be carried out until the end of this half term in order to give children time to settle back into routines and ensure every child feels confident.

This coming week is Science week - the theme being "Inventors and Inventions".

The rest of this half term we will be focussing on settling the children back into school, routines, friendships, play and social and emotional skills. Should you have any questions or would like to share any information or concerns, please email me directly.

Your child's happiness and well being is 100% our priority!

Finally, a HUUUUUGGGGEEEEE thank you to Mrs. Briant who has been part of our team during Lockdown! xx

See you all on Monday!

Mrs. J, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Hibberd and Mrs. Burgess
