Thank you to all of you who were able to come along and support the 2019 Comic Relief Reception and Pre-School PoW's Got Talent. It was fantastic to see so many children confident, brave and willing to stand up and share their talent whilst raising money for charity - they should be very proud of themselves and there were definitely some talents to be nurtured there.............another one for the memory book! Do pop along and see the office if you are interested in taking up a musical instrument in the future.
Don't forget the Comic Relief cake and merchandise sale after school tomorrow and Thursday. Home clothes day on Friday too!
The children were buzzing with excitement on Friday as, for our Big Write, they all wrote messages for the dragons and hid them round the classroom..........we are trying to save Camelot. This week we read the story of George and the Dragon and have been thinking how we could trap a dragon and if we catch one, what we should do with it.
Thank you to all of you who have brought in some of your topic related home learning, we love sharing your creative ideas and learning.
Mr. Spracklen has nearly finished replying to all the letters that you sent him over half term..........I am sure he would love you to write back to him!!!!!
Our wow words of the day this week so far are: wonderful and superb............please use them at home and, by all means, encourage the children to come up with their own wow words. We are passionate about introducing new vocabulary and developing communication and language skills.
It s the last forest schools for Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger tomorrow, it will change to the other three groups next week. Dress for wet and cold conditions for tomorrows forest schools.
