everyone,
Today,
your child will have come home with an invitation for a Granny and Granddad's
breakfast. We ran the event last year and it was a success so here we are
again! The children have written their own invitations but there is a mistake
with the date!
The
morning for the breakfast will be next Thursday 14th July. This
is a different date from the invitations we sent out! There was a mix
up on our part. We are sorry! We will be watching another class assembly on the
Friday date.
It
will begin from drop-off time and go on until about 10.00am. There will be tea
and coffee as well as a selection of cereal and toast. Sorry, there will be no
fried breakfast - I know! Awful! It is a chance for us to recognise and show
our appreciation for the input that many grandparents have on the children's
education and care. It is also a chance for grandparents to come to the school
who might not have been in before!
Obviously,
we recognise that some grandparents live far away or will be unable to make it
on the morning. If this is the case then mums and dads are more than welcome to
stay instead.
On
the day, there will be a pot for voluntary contributions. If there are any
questions please come and speak to us. Apologies about the mix-up again!
