Ducks, Skeletons and Glorious Mud

 Hi Reception Families,

We had such a wonderful week this week.

This week we were exploring our bodies and how to keep them healthy. We made skeletons and explored X-rays.

We also enjoyed Funny Bones in Drawing Club.

In Understanding the Natural World this week, we have begun our focus on magnets. we made skeletons and then made them dance using the magnets.

This week in maths we have been focusing on comparison, the children identified which duck had more and which had fewer. They also practised their sharing skills to make sure the ducks had the some amount.

Now.... The mud! Spontaneously this week a few children discovered the mud of the mud kitchen, whilst it was messy (sorry for the additional washing) it brought them SO much joy, pure magic of childhood!

We had a great time with Coach Luca in basketball.

We've also played and played!

Well done to our hat entrants for Children in Need.

Turning our attention to next week:

Drawing Club: Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Maths: Composition

Understanding the World: London.

As ever if there is anything we can do to help, please do get in touch.

Ms Evans and the Reception Team.
