Reception w/c 4th November 2019

Hello Everyone,

We hope you have had a funfilled half term break with lots of family time and memory making. Are you all fully revitalised for the next exhilerating, exciting best half term of the year..............Christmas?????????

We will, ofcourse, have a huge Christmas focus in December but our first topic is going to be solely lead by the children............we are going to be guided by their interests so watch this space.........!

If you have been having a clear out over the week we would be very greatful for any items you may have come across that you were going to throw out.................more dressing up items (jewellery, glasses, hats, scarves, gloves, jackets, shoes) buttons, beads, gem stones, pebbles, shells, wool, ribbons, sequins, keys, curtain rings, junk modelling, quality childrens books (fiction and non fiction), christmas wrapping paper, old christmas cards, gift tags, stationary, games, puzzles, wood of all different shapes and sizes, natural items for our maths area that can be counted and sorted - leaves, fir cones, conkers, corks...................

FYI on Thursday, this week, we will be going to Thomas Hardyes for a science workshop in the morning and returning to school in time for lunch! We are VERY excited about this.........it may well spark our new topic!!!!!!

Also, we are incredibly lucky to have the opportunity of a block of 4 extra PE lessons lead by Levi Daley. The focus will be gymnastics.

We can't wait to see you all on Tuesday!

Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Cura
