Hello
everyone,
We
apologise that we weren't able to get to Honeybrook Farm today! The children
were very excited for this and whilst we gave it some serious thought, the
weather forecast was proven to be true with the rain!
However,
we didn't just stop and mope! Instead we began a journey around the world that
will celebrate the diverse nature of the reception class. We found out this
morning that we have links to Greece,
France, Australia and even Brazil! For the last 2 weeks we
will be exploring these links and countries! If there is anyone out there at
home that would be willing to come in and talk about their country then please
come and let us know! It would be great to have you in - only 10 minutes I
promise!!
We
have started our journey in Great
Britain and to celebrate our own country we
had a quintessentially British afternoon tea! We made some scones and sat down
at the end of the day to dig in to them! They were very tasty indeed! Who knows
where we'll end up tomorrow?
