Hello everyone,
We are still pressing on with learning our new sounds, despite the festive season being here! The sounds for this week are below. We are also beginning to have a closer look at writing cursive letter shapes. These can be complex to begin with but we will really be getting stuck in from January! More to follow.
'ai' as in aim - Cup hand over ear and say ai,
ai,
ai.
'ee' as in green - Put hands on head as if ears on a donkey
and say eeyore, eeyore.
'igh' as in night - Stand to attention and salute, saying ie
ie.
(or point to eye)
Please do bring in any home learning that children do at home because we love to see it and show it to the class if children want to!
