Happy Christmas

Hello everyone,

Well, we have completed one term of the reception year. A BIG thank you to all parents & Grandparents for the help and support they have given us this term. It has been fantastic to work with you so far and I am looking forward to the rest of the year. Most of all, a massive well done to all the children! They have been fantastic to teach and are a wonderful mix that ensures we are always kept on our toes. I have to remind myself that they have only been in school since September, because how much they have learnt and matured has been remarkable. Congratulations to all of those who won awards and certificates yesterday in the awards assembly. The team and I would also like to say thank you for all the gifts that were received yesterday - we'll probably still be eating chocolates in March!
Mr. Farrington had his last day yesterday and we all wish him a very happy retirement. From January, in reception, we will continue to have Mrs. Emerton and Mrs. Gardner in the classroom. So if you have any questions please feel free to ask them as well.
Once again, thank you for your support. Have a lovely Christmas and enjoy your well deserved break. I eagerly look forward to seeing you all again in the new year - after a few hundred chocolates.

Merry Christmas - Reception team

  1. Ho Ho Ho and a Happy Christmas to the Reception team and all the children. They gave such a wonderful performance at the Xmas shows, I can see we have a few Pavarottis in the making. Thank you all for your hard work this term, it has flown by and I can't believe we'll be in the Spring term when the children return! It has been amazing to see their brilliant progress and how far they have come in such a short space of time. I wish the children, parents and especially the staff a relaxing and greatly deserved holiday. Hope you can fit through the classroom door when you return! Have a delightful Christmas and a stocking full of wonderful presents, just not more chocolates.
