Reception Wednesday 31st March 2021 - one more eggciting day to go!

 

A well deserved Easter break is within reaching distance. Our children should be applauded for their energy, enthusiasm and positivity! We have been particularly impressed with their personal and social development displaying empathy, thinking of others, negotiating and using their words to express their feelings! Well done Reception!

The children have brought 2 library books home today, which they may keep to read over Easter. Please can ALL RWInc books be returned TOMORROW. There will be NO RWInc books coming home now until after Easter. Look out for your child's RWInc assessment sheet in their book bag tomorrow!

We would like to say just how understanding and resilient the children were when we talked about Mrs. Smith's new job. Mrs. Smith has always wanted to work for the NHS and is now following her dreams! We are soooooooo proud of her and happy for her! The children thought it was amazing that she was following her dreams and it lead to a lovely discussion about their dreams and how important it was not to give up on those dreams!

I will be in constant contact with Mrs. Smith and I know she will regularly send messages to show the children and I am sure she will visit us. We will be inviting her in during Summer 2, as part of our topic, to talk about her job!

Thank you Mrs. Smith, we love you lots like jelly-tots, you are "shamazing" and an inspiration to everyone who has the pleasure of meeting and knowing you! We are so privileged to have had you sprinkling love into our lives!
