We’re excited to let you know that this half term, the children in Reception will be spending an hour each Monday morning from 11:15am to 12:15pm with Gardener Jim in the Reception outdoor area. During these sessions, the children will be helping to tend to our raised flower beds and working together to enhance and improve our natural outdoor spaces.
As part of this hands-on gardening experience, we kindly ask that you pack an extra pair of socks for your child each Monday, just in case their feet get a little soggy while carrying water or exploring the garden.
We would also love to welcome any parents, carers, or family members who would like to join us for these sessions! Your help—and your green fingers—would be greatly appreciated as we work to make our garden a beautiful and inspiring place for the children.
