Hi Reception Families,
Just a quick note to say, children will be bringing their PE kits home with them this week, we would like to trial children coming to school dressed in their PE kits from Tuesday 15th November.
We are hopeful that this will make Tuesday mornings slightly smoother for the children.
Key details:
Children should wear their school shoes with their PE kit as we will be doing PE in the hall so they won't need their plimsolls/daps.
Children should continue to wear their school jumpers.
Children could/ should wear leggings or jogging bottoms due to the weather conditions. (Ideally these will be navy blue or black.)
Children will spend the rest of the day in their PE kits and return home wearing them.
Once families get used to this system, it can be a helpful routine, it means that PE kit gets washed more frequently and makes the school day smoother for all children.
We will be trialling this new routine until Christmas so any feedback you have will be most welcome!
Please ensure that 'Books To Love' are returned tomorrow so that children can chose another one to bring home with them. We hope you have enjoyed having a special story time together this week.
