Just a quick message to say well done to all the reception children for their super efforts in the last class assembly yesterday morning! They were all super and delivered their lines with such confidence. I'm sure you will agree that they have all grown in character and personality since September and I have no doubt that they will continue to do so. Thank you to everyone that came to watch.
Also, Thank you for all the food supplied yesterday for the class party lunch! There was an awful lot. If you brought in any tubs or trays, these will be available to collect on Monday from the back of the classroom. Thank you and have a lovely weekend.

Bravo, fantastic and unforgettable! The Reception team have pulled it off once again with an extremely amusing take on 'The Gingerbread Man' that even hardcore fans of 'The Life of Brian' would find envious?!!
ReplyDeleteNot one single tear was lost by the now very mature and capable Reception children but alas that is not to be said about the adults at the assembly. I believe not one, two or three parents did shed a tear, actually not many eyes remained dry during the photo shots. So true to your word the assembly was a success and so thank you. Rumour has it that even the creators of this eclectic mix of entertainment may have dropped the odd tear. Darth Vader will be thoroughly disappointed with the whole scenario! Too much food lets have another party! Promises must be kept so we await the Reception assemblies DVD!
Do not fear! I have remembered - surprisingly. They will be ready by the end of term.
