Some home learning ideas...

Hello everyone,

We continue to be overwhelmed by the amount of writing that has been coming in from home! It has been brilliant. I thought it was about time to put up some more home learning ideas. Most of these ideas are linked to the topic we will be doing from next week: The Gambia. More information will follow about what we will be up to. 

• Find out where the Gambia is and write down a fact i.e. capital city, national food etc. 
• Find and draw the Gambian flag. 
• We'll be looking at a family that lives in the Gambia - find out about what people do in your family so we can compare. 
• If you can remember, we had a name writing competition at the beginning of the year and we would like to revisit this. However, we would like to see your WHOLE name (middle names included) and it must be written. Feel free to use as many colours as you want. 

Lastly, we had a visit from the year 8 sports leaders based up at DMS today. The children were all given the opportunity to participate in a set of activities devised by the year 8 students.
