Reception - RSPB Visit

Hello everyone,

Today we were very lucky to receive some visitors in school to help us learn all about the wild birds that you can see in own school grounds! Mr and Mrs Farrington came to school and took all the children out with binoculars to see what they could see! The reception children were very good and managed to spot a whole variety of birds! See if they can remember some of the names!

Reception - Assembly Lines

Hi all,

A note to say that every child was today given an assembly line to take home. We practised these in the hall today to introduce them to the children. ANY practice you can manage at home will help to build confidence ready for our class assembly this Friday at 9.20am. Some inspiration about performing above! Thank you.

Reception - Clarity About Tiger Tea Tomorrow

Hello everyone,

We were asked a few questions about the Tiger Tea tomorrow and I just wanted to clarify that yes, you can indeed wear a costume all day long. This could be the Tiger, Sophie, Milkman, Grocer, Daddy, Mummy etc. Please don't feel the need to go out and buy something extravagant - anything will do! I've added some pictures below for some inspiration. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Reception - Tiger Tea This Friday!

Hello everyone,

A reminder that this Friday you are all invited to come along to our Tiger Tea Party at school! We have seen some fantastic learning taking place over the last few weeks, all surrounding The Tiger Who Came to Tea story. We cannot wait to share all this with you! We are also all eagerly waiting to see the Tiger when he comes along to tea...

Please report to the main school office from 2.30pm onwards and we will be in the Pre-school hall!

Reception - New Look Classroom

Hi all,

A quick message to say that our first day back in the Reception Classroom was a huge success. The children were all VERY excited to explore and spent most of the day climbing up the ladder and/or seeing what was in every single one of the boxes! I would like to thank you all for your patience with this project and we look forward to making the absolute most out of our learning environment.

Reception - Tomorrow Morning

Hello everyone,

As you are all aware, we have been undergoing a massive refurbishment project in the reception classroom. I'm pleased to announce that tomorrow you will get to see the result of a super community effort that has transformed the space since you were last all there.

As part of this change we will now be using the double green doors round the side of the school building to enter in the morning and leave at the end of the day. This will begin tomorrow morning.

We are very excited to show you the new classroom and look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
